After taking a couple of weeks off for the holiday season The Pulse Network resumed programming on Monday and I was asked to sound off on the Big Ten’s dismal New Year’s Day bowl showing on The Pulse on Campus. Wisconsin lost in the Rose Bowl against TCU and Penn State faded late in the Outback Bowl against Florida. Northwestern showed some fight late against Texas Tech but Michigan State and Michigan were dominated by SEC schools. So where does the Big Ten stand right now?
In addition to talking about the Big Ten’s woes we also take a look at the Orange Bowl, which was played last night. Let the record show that I picked Stanford while host Ty Pyburn and producer Kyle MacNaught each picked Virginia Tech.
I join the show for the first segment, which can be seen above in case you missed it live. The second segment has an interesting interview with Notre Dame player Barry Gallup Jr., who discusses playing for Charlie Weis, who was just added to the Florida Gators’ coaching staff under new head coach Will Muschamp.
The Pulse on Campus airs daily from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on The Pulse Network.
