Radio Episode 002 – Talking Big East spring football

Aaron Torres joins the College Football Examiner Radio Show

Will 2011 see Cincinnati bounce back from a poor season and will UConn be able to stay on top in 2011? Getty Images.

After breaking down a number of topics in the Big Ten in the debut episode the College Football Examiner Radio Show shifted gears to the wide-open Big East conference. Once again the conference enters the spring with no clear-cut favorite to win the conference in 2011 and we have a few more coaching changes at a couple of places.

Making his first appearance on the radio show was Aaron Torres of Aaron Torres Sports, although he has appeared on the podcast before. Not only to we discuss the coaching turnover in the conference and some teams that may be ready to take the steps moving forward on the field but we also briefly touch on the question of whether or not Villanova should make a move to the FBS and join the Big East.

I apologize for fumbling around a couple times on the production end of things, including hanging up on my guest before bringing him on, but the learnign process continues! Stay tuned for updates on next week’s schedule. We’ll touch on the SEC for sure and we’ll see where the rest of the week goes.
