Andrew Luck promises BCS title guarantee to ESPN if you follow him on Twitter

Stanford QB wants you to follow him

Andrew Luck surprised everybody by making the decision to return to Stanford for one final season instead of heading to the NFL in 2011 (looking more and more like a smart decision form a smart kid). His return instantly make Stanford one of the teams to beat once again in the Pac-12, along with Oregon, and some have even suggested Stanford could make a run for the BCS championship with Luck at the helm.

I am not ready to go quite that far, but the best Cardinal quarterback since John Elway suited up may be ready to make that promise on national television if he can pick up a few more followers on Twitter. The goal is 1,000 followers before announcing on ESPN’s cameras that Stanford will win the BCS championship…

Give him a follow already.

Luck has been on Twitter since May 5 but as of this posting he has tweeted just a handful of times, mostly to let people know he is following them and that he is on Twitter. I suspect that given his notoriety in the sport, 1,000 followers will be an easy task to accomplish.

Get those cameras ready ESPN.

UPDATE: Perhaps we should have dug a little deeper before posting this. There is some question as to whether or not this is a real account. If I am fooled, so are 150 others.
