Purdue Boilermakers senior running back Sean Alan Matti is missing according to Department of Natural Resources in Lake Freeman, Indiana. Matti was last seen Sunday evening and DNR officials were contacted around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night in response to Matti’s disappearance. Matti was last seen around 5 p.m. on Sunday.

According to WLFI an active search is underway for Matti, who was last seen swimming in Lake Freeman near a home in Snow Ditch. Police are going door-to-door and looking for anyone with knowledge of Matti’s whereabouts. The search commenced Sunday night and continued Monday morning as divers searched the shoreline by the lake and used sonar technology to check the body of water for signs of a body.

Anyone with information on Matti’s whereabouts should call the Carroll County Sheriff’s Dispatch at (765) 564-2413.
