We don’t know exactly what conferences these schools will be playing in five years from now but none of that will matter Saturday night. Florida State hosts Oklahoma in the game of the week Saturday night in what is the Sooners’ first trip to Tallahassee in program history. Bobby Bowden joked about how he was never able to get Oklahoma to come down to play him when he was the head coach at Florida State, but there will be no joking around this weekend.

Oklahoma is looking to take their number one program on the road and score a major victory. Florida State is looking to prove to the nation that they are ready for the big stage now, and won’t wait around for 2012.

Here to help me take a look at the game is Allen Kenney of Blatant Homerism and the managing editor of Crystal Ball Run, and Adam Tolliver of the new Florida Satte blog Unconquered Noles.

This episode of the podcast is also available on Crystal Ball Run in a special simulcast edition.
