MLB Network’s Intentional Talk talks to Mark DeRosa

Former Penn quarterback recalls his college football days

San Francisco Giants infielder and Major League Baseball veteran Mark DeRosa has joined the studio cast of characters at MLB Network during the 2011 postseason. Inviting current players or managers to be a part of the studio shows on sports networks during the postseason is not uncommon. To help get DeRosa comfortable with his new surroundings for the veteran was recently a guest on Intentional Talk, hosted by baseball announcing veteran and former host of Best Damn Sports Show Period Chris Rose and former player Kevin Millar.

During a Q&A session DeRosa discussed a few topics, including his college football days at Penn, where he played quarterback.

After some minor digging through Google, I found this image of DeRosa preparing to throw a pass in his old Quakers outfit, via The Daily Pennsylvanian.
