This day in college football history, Georgia’s Jake Scott returns two interceptions for touchdowns

College Football Hall of Fame inductee Jake Scott tied an NCAA record with two interceptions returned for touchdowns in leading No. 8 Georgia past Kentucky 35-14 in Lexington, Ky. Scott set a school record as the Bulldogs captured the SEC title with 10 interceptions that season, and he still holds school records with 16 picks and 315 interception return yards.
