College Football’s Top 50 Plays from 2011
First No 2-Minute Warning feature video
.
When we look back on the 2011 season, what will we remember? Will it be the off-field distractions from player arrests, investigations, suspensions or the scandals that affected programs like Miami, Ohio State, and of course Penn State? While it may have been difficult to overlook many of the negative story lines from this season there were plenty of positive moments to remember as well.
In the video above we put together 50 plays and moments that are among the best of the season. From Robert Griffin III’s Heisman moment against Oklahoma to Trent Richardson’s all-time juke move and the incredible play of some freshmen, these plays were some of the finest of the season. Did we miss some? It is very likely.
Before you watch this video, be warned. It is a solid 32 minutes long so you may want to check this out on a lunch break or something. All of the videos were found on YouTube and edited in iMovie. No challenge to the sources of the video clips is being made. Also, a number of the plays were suggested by some of you, via Twitter. Where possible, I made sure to mention that in the video. Special thanks to all of you who submitted a play suggestion (I could not include them all), and another special thanks to the staff at Crystal Ball Run for their contributions as well.
Hype this up on BallHyped.
