South Carolina suspends linebacker following arrest

Angelo Watley arrested on Grand Larceny charge, and more

Well this can’t be good for one particular South Carolina Gamecocks linebacker. From Examiner.com, citing 247 Sports;

Linebacker Angelo Watley has been indefinitely suspended by South Carolina following an arrest on three charges. Watley was charged with Grand Larceny, Financial Transaction Card Theft and Violent burglary in the second degree by Columbia, South Carolina police.

This is the second time Watley has been arrested since joining South Carolina’s football program. In July of 2011 Watley was arrested on six charges of terroristic threats by Gwinnett County police. This time, Watley is accused of stealing in excess of $2,700 worth of goods, including Apple computer products such as an iPad and MacBook.
