Pro Combat Region: Miami, Cal meet in Sweet 16 match-up

From 32 teams to 16, the 2012 Worst College Football Uniform Tournament is on to round two! Moving to the Pro Combat bracket, we have The U going up against the underdog Bears from Cal.

Miami stormed to a round one victory against North Carolina’s dark blue jerseys, receiving 75.61% of the vote. Miami’s Pro Combat is a uniform should be considered a strong contender in this tournament. Can they make a run and challenge Maryland for uniform ugliness supremacy?

To do so Miami will have to get by Cal uniform that is capable of making a surprise run of their own. Cal’s all-yellow uniform took down Florida State’s all-black uniform, which the committee believed would be a strong contender in the early rounds. The votes suggested otherwise, with Cal receiving 60.53% of the votes.

So who will take one step closer to the regional championship? Miami or Cal? Your vote will decide.

Vote below to determine which of these two uniforms deserves to be put away in a storage closet, never to see the light of day again until appearing on a future episode of Storage Wars? Voting is open until Saturday night, with the next round starting next week.
