Episode 109: The Bobby Petrino Story
Brief recap and conversation about Bobby Petrino’s fate with Arkansas

It has been one crazy week for Arkansas football, and in the month of April that is generally not a statement you want to hear. It started with the word that head coach Bobby Petrino was involved in a motorcycle accident, and ended with the coach being placed on administrative leave as a result of lying to his boss and getting involved in a love triangle with a woman half his age, who was engaged to another man. Oh, and I’m sure you heard by now Petrino hired this woman to be a part of his football staff, right?
Woo, pig sooie indeed.
Chris Bahn, editor of ArkansasSports360.com took some time out of his busy schedule to recap what exactly has happened with the Petrino story, from its origin to where we stand at the beginning of this week. Bahn recently took a look at what Arkansas Athletic Director Jeff Long is reviewing in regard to Petrino’s status with the football program.
Will Petrino ultimately be cut loose? What exactly does Long have to consider when making this sort of decision? What kind of message will Arkansas be sending with their Petrino decision, be it to part ways or keep him on board? Will the Arkansas faithful support the coach, or the school?
Thankfully, this is not my decision to make.
