Hype Video Round-Up: Michigan, Penn State, LSU, Alabama, Florida State and N.C. State
Hype video season is well underway!
While browsing YouTube I came across a hype video for this season’s BYU vs. Boise State game. I figured I would share it on the site so all could critique. Of course, this is prime hype video season as college football fans all over are ready to get everything started now. Unfortunately we have to resort to Big Ten Network and ESPN Classic replays to fill our football void, which is why hype videos have started to become the de facto way to scratch an itch.
We will try to do this from time to time as we get through the second half of the season, but here are a few hype videos that have recently been posted online. Feel free to send us any hype videos you happen to come across for inclusion in upcoming hype video round-ups.

Staying in the Big Ten, we have this video that was posted on Nittany Lions Den, in which Penn State takes the toxic narrative and uses it as motivation…
LSU has done a fantastic job with their own off-season videos this year, but here is one put together by somebody from outside the program, Jason King…
Naturally, we move from LSU to Alabama (why not?) with a video that features vocals by Muhammad Ali and… Rocky Balboa? We’ll allow it.
One team we should all be keeping an eye on this season might be the Florida State Seminoles. As this video suggests, this season could be one in which the ACC and others “Fear the Spear.”

West Virginia’s move to the Big 12 this season has Morgantown jumping, and this video featuring music by Jay-Z seems to work well enough with the archived highlights from West Virginia’s football past, although the audio levels could have used some work. In the end, this deserves a good job, good effort…
