Documentary chronicles 2011 Northwest Missouri State

When it comes to Division 2 football, few programs compare to the one at Northwest Missouri State. Multiple national championships and more championship game appearances make for a special football program. Of course, there is always more to the story behind just playing great football on the field, and Northwest Missouri’s somber tale of the 2011 season is nothing short of inspiring.

Northwest Missouri lost their head coach, Scott Bostwick, over the summer last year, just months before the team assembled for training camp heading in to the 2011 season. The loss was one that hit everybody surrounding the program hard and gave the team a reason to play with the heaviest of hearts as they looked to win a championship in their former coach’s name.

Dream Season takes a look at the 2011 season at Northwest Missouri State, with a look at the players that made the season. The teaser sure has me looking to check this out. Hopefully it will get you to want to know more about the story as well.
