North Carolina’s chrome helmet is awesome

The chrome helmet look sweeping college football is flat-out awesome, and compared to other ways teams try to copy Oregon’s style, the chrome helmet fad has been one of the better fashion trends spreading around. Take a look at North Carolina’s new chrome helmet above. The Tar Heels wore these helmets against rival North Carolina State, a win for the Heels.

The helmet abandons the traditional logo and replaces it with the secondary tar heel logo, and the chrome Carolina blue finish is as sleek as any I have seen to this point.
