Louisville players get Big East, Sugar Bowl rings

We all know that Louisville is largely considered a basketball school but the football program has been having one of the more successful stints in program history as well. The Cardinals are heading to the ACC in 2014 and figure to be the team to beat in The American in 2013, fresh off a Big East championship and a victory over the Florida Gators in the Sugar Bowl.

Check out the rings the Louisville players have just received for their accomplishments last season, as revealed on Twitter by graduate assistant coach Will Stein.

For comparison’s sake, here is a look at the Big East championship rings awarded to Rutgers players. Florida State players have not received their ACC championship or Orange Bowl rings yet, but here is a look at the design. And these Northwestern rings were worth the wait with the simplicity and low key approach.
