Episode 148 – A mess in Michigan and Week 6 Preview

Ann Arbor, Michigan has been boiling for a while now, but things finally seemed to bubble over this past week. Betwen the mishandling of an injured Shane Morris and the bumbling chain of command and wandering line of communication within the football program and athletic department, things seem to have hit a new low for Michigan football. And this is a program that had a miserable three years under Rich Rodriguez, remember. As you might expect, the state of the Michigan football program was once again a major topic of discussion on the podcast this week, but we had a number of other topics to touch on as well before moving into a weekend preview.

Chuckie Keeton is done for the year. Ole Miss is under investigation for potential rules viuolations. A Florida State booster was fired. Mack Brown is leaving the door open for a possibel return to coaching (Michigan???). And there just so happens to be an awesome slate of college football on tap for this weekend.

Joining me on the podcast once again is Andy Coppens of Talking 10 (Twitter, Facebook) and Madtown Badgers (Twitter, Facebook). In addition to all of the topics above, Andy and I skip around the Top 25 and touch on a number of the match-ups this coming weekend, including the Thursday night game between Oregon and Arizona. If you are listening to this after Thursday, no worries. There is plenty to talk about. As always, I invite you to leave your feedback in the comment section, or to send me a message on Twitter.
