Podcast: Mid-summer prep for college football

The Fourth of July is over. The college football preview magazines are making the rounds. SEC media days begin next week. Without trying to rush you through your summer, college football is coming, and it is coming so quickly that Nick Saban may complain and want to slow things down a little.

A good old friend of the No 2-Minute Warning Podcast returns to talk some college football. Brandan Cavanaugh of Eight Laces (@eightlaces) stops by to discuss everything from realignment (yes, we are still talking about that), the possible decline and implosion of the Big 12 and Adidas, to The Opening (going on now in Oregon). It is a good way to get back in the podcasting groove after some time off from the podcasting routine.

During the course of the interview I recommended checking out the Make Plays podcast from some folks in the Reddit community. Here is the iTunes link for that. Give them a try and see what you think. I also mentioend FBSchedules.com, which is a terrific resource for college football schedules.

You can listen to the full episode below, or follow the show (listen, subscribe, rate and review!) using any one of these outlets that is most convenient to you:

iHeart Radio | iTunes | Stitcher | Spreaker
