Jon Gruden will be back to grilling and quizzing some of this season’s top quarterback prospects before the NFL Draft. ESPN announced today seven quarterbacks have been chosen to be a part of Gruden’s QB Camp, entering its seventh year on the air as one of the better programs for NFL Draft coverage ESPN seems to have going.

ESPN is already hyping Goff and Wentz as projected first round picks, which seems to be the general consensus. This may not be a particularly strong year for quarterback prospects in the NFL Draft, but Goff and Wentz have clearly been the two being discussed the most as the top prospects so far. I will be curious to see how Gruden breaks them down.
I will also be particularly interested to hear Gruden break it down with Penn State‘s Christian Hackenberg and Ohio State‘s Cardale Jones. Some people were suggesting Jones turn pro after leading Ohio State to the national championship a year ago, and he ended up losing his starting job in Columbus this year to J.T. Barrett. Hackenberg has been one of the more polarizing prospects as well. How much has he really digressed at Penn State since Bill O’Brien left for the Houston Texans, and how much can be put on the instability of the offensive line?
There are no dates attached to the Gruden QB Camp press release yet, but you will want to be sure to set your DVR for them when they do hit the air.
