Bumpcast: Answering questions about BYU, Temple, the NFL Draft, and more

It has been a while since I dabbled in podcasting for a variety of reasons, but I look forward to getting behind the microphone again soon. In the meantime, I was introduced to Bumpers by Fred Segal (who you may know more as @OldTakesExposed), and am getting started with it. Bumpers is a mobile audio recording app that allows me to create brief podcasts on the fly and share them on the Bumpers app and website. I am experimenting with it for now and hoping to make it a regular part of my commentary and coverage moving forward.

My focus will always tend to be more slanted toward college football, of course, but I will use Bumpers to touch on some other sports subjects as well. I hope you will feel inclined to give my feed a follow to stay up to date on the Bumpers app. When I have college football-focused bumpcasts to share though, I will put them here for you.

In my brief intro bumpcast, I asked for listeners and Twitter followers to submit questions for me for my first episode. I received some good questions. Topics covered in this Q&A bumpcast include:

  • NFL Draft thoughts and sleepers
  • Can Temple return to the AAC championship game?
  • Which conference most likely gets left out of the College Football Playoff?
  • What will it take for BYU to get in CFB Playoff or New Years Six bowl game?
  • How good will Iowa running back Akram Wadley be in 2017?
  • Thoughts on the recent ESPN layoffs

So give it a listen and let me know what you think.
