One week from today EA Sports will officially release NCAA Football 13 in retail stores. You are excited. I am excited. Mike the Tiger is excited.
What makes this year’s game unique is the new Heisman Challenge mode, in which you can place a select former Heisman Trophy winner on any team you wish in hopes of achieving the same level of success.
Want to play with Desmond Howard in scarlet and gray, as the son in the above video does?
Have at it. Want to know how much different things could have been if Robert Griffin III had suited up for the Longhorns instead of Baylor? No problem. What if Eddie George played closer to his roots for the Temple instead of Ohio State?
Of course, this is just the tipping point for NCAA Football 13. Christian McLeod, who at this time last year was blogging about video games for Operation Sports, is now living a dream as a video game designer for EA Sports on the NCAA Football development team.
He was also kind enough to check in a week before launch to dive a little deeper into some of the details about this year’s game.
